Scope of work:
This development project of the Republic of Kosovo and KOSTT – Transmission System and Market Operator J.S.C., financed by a loan from the German government through KfW, aims to enhance the reliability, efficiency, and digitalization of Kosovo’s transmission network. The project scope is related to Design, Supply and Installation of power transformers.
The project involves supplying two new 110/10(20) kV, 32/40 MVA power transformers for substations Fushe Kosova and Kastrioti, and replacing existing transformers at substations Gjakova 1, Pristina 5, and Prizren 1 with upgraded 32/40 MVA ONAN/ONAF units, including multi-voltage (110/35/10(20) kV) configurations. Additionally, the optional scope covers similar transformer replacements at substations Peja 1, Ferizaj 1, and Decan.
The tendering process will be conducted in accordance with KfW’s Guidelines for Procurement – Procurement of Consulting Services, Works, Plant, Goods, and Non-Consulting Services in Financial Cooperation with Partner Countries, latest edition. The contract conditions shall be in accordance with the FIDIC Yellow Book, amended by project-specific Particular Conditions. Payments to successful contractor will be executed by KfW under the simplified direct disbursement procedure, in the currency Euro.
